Can you remove the complicated drive from one knees top and install it into anouther brand and produce laptop?

my friend took a concrete drive from one make n model laptop and put it within another make n model knees top will this work?

Answer:

yes. you can do a repair install if it doesnt run... or if it runs and is using xp or linux, it will just prompt you to install extramural drivers for the new system.... (sound, video, harddisk controllers, introduce yourself. etc.)
Yes, but not as nicely as you would resembling. There are two types of bus systems for harddrives(serial ATA and PATA) but most are SATA now. As long as the bus system is compatible i.e. you can plug it into the gadget then it should be compatible. However, here is the problem of format. When you plug the drive in most operating systems want the drive in a specific format near specific drivers. So once you plug it in you will hold to format the drive and probably loose all your information.

Thats the best i can do for you good luck
Yes, conspicuously you'll just enjoy to reformat and re-install windows

Yes logically it will.
