Can you use an Ibook minus a freestyle contained by it, and only using the power cord?

Answer:

Yea, the just way to know for sure is to try it. Most will, some won't work.

It will not wreck it, I can tell you that for sure.
Probably. Go ahead and try and see what happen.
take the mobile out and see
Yes.As long as you have a power cord, from a outlet giving it electrric(energy)then you can use it and enjoy it recharge faster then it using power at duplicate time.A battery act like alot of electric contained by a battery. The electric go into the mottor and it makes it untill there's no more power. In a outlet, you are getting power 5x (i think) faster.

So you CAN use the IBOOK (and recharge) at one and the same time.

Hope this helps you.

Good luck!
depends on the laptop

ibook clamshell - yes, mine seem to be able to

ibook g3 - not sure (dont own one)

ibook g4 - mine seem to do so

macbook - not sure (dont own one)

depends on your model really.

hope this answers your question.
When Apple issued a battery-operated recall for iBooks and PowerBooks, one of their instructions be to remove the battery and run it beside the power cord until the replacement battery arrived.
