Yes. you requirement the VGA cable to do so. It is available just roughly anywhere xbox 360's are sold. You just connect the VGA cable to the xbox 360, and the other ending to your monitor. I have mine hooked up that mode and the quality is amazing. It is the cheapest passageway to view your games contained by HD if you can't afford an expensive HDTV. Hope this helps.
Not unless you hold component input on your monitor. You can get a component to VGA converter on ebay though.
