our airport is roughly 2 years old, and im getting this computer and i be wondering if i need to buy a clean wireless card, or anything to connect to it.

802.11 is a standard. So if you have an Apple router you can still use other wireless cards to connect to it.
If your apple airport is 2 years antiquated it might be time to upgrade for speed purposes anyways unless it is 802.11g or better.
You might have to buy an ethernet cable, but except it should work. Airport works with Mac and PC
