It really depends on what you are looking to do. If digital work is your purpose, go for a macbook pro near core2duo. If it's computing, go for a Pentium-D core2duo laptop. Make sure you enjoy at least 1 GB of push and enough firm drive space to store all your work. Aim for 1700~1800 if you are buying from retailers (like apple or dell).

If money is not a problem then i would right to be heard either HP or Dell's near an amd turion 64 X2 dual core processor.
HP (both hp precision & compaq presario) dual core processor laptops r very nice, chiefly, as they r equipped with Altec Lansing nouns system, their video and audio r mind blowing...

they will cost u around 50-52k INR, with 100GB unyielding disk, 1GB RAM, and Nvidia integrated graphics card they r best for playing games... for details visit HP website...
