you pretty much enjoy to pick components that are designed to fit in the covering that you have, I don't know of any authentic forms, or standards in the laptop world...
if you are picking components ment to walk in that suitcase, then you can buy the exact computer that you are making from the factory, probably for smaller number.
I just visit that newegg site, I didn't see any laptop components, except for some mobile processors. That only does you angelic when you have a laptop that you want a better processor within, nowhere near what you would call for to do a whole laptop project.
