Answer:
While the finishing answer gave you a connection to Intel's EM64T, he failed to sense that EM64T is not available on the processor you are using. So, definatively, you CANNOT run XP64 on this system, because your processor is not 64-bit capable.
Nope ...it's still a 32 bit processor ... you want a 64 bit processor to run a 64 bit application
According to Intels web site (see the links) you can. If I am reading it right. I used the AMD 64 dual core and XP Pro 64 bit and runs great but I did do profusely of research as an avid PC builder. There is no virus protection for 64bit yet and some drivers may necessitate to be updated for your hardware also most Burning software will have to be bought up to date to cover the 64bit as the oem Nero and Roxio do not have a patch as of even so. But the new full version will run on the 64bit. Do some real philosophical research and stay away from vista...read the attached article..
Dual Core Processors are 32 Bit therefore it can individual run x86 OPSYS but CoreDuo is supposed to have a 64 bit architecture contained by its circuit but that not proven only a myth but def Core2Duo have the 64Bit.
