Just conversation to my PC support line after my CD-Rom's bust, and they said I-Tunes can screw it up. Does anyone know something like this and if there's any fixes?
Answer:
it did mine no favours
Any piece of software can behave badly. iTunes, given it's size and complexity, is more expected (by pure statistics) to cause problems that a smaller/less complex program.
There is NO WAY, however, that it can result in physical damage. The worst it can do is corrupt files or slow your computer to a crawl. But it cannot spoil your CD-ROM.
I haven't heard of iTunes ever screw up a cd-rom
i think the notebook support line be making it up because they didn't know how to deal next to your problem
Yes. My daughter messed up my pc at home beside i-tunes.
The only problem that you can own with I-Tunes is that it will work slower on a workstation then on an Apple near is no proven damage that itunes can make happen to your computer email me with the actual problem that you have with your CDrom
Yes it is possible. The best mode to get rid of the problem is to uninstall itunes and next do a system restore. go put money on to the day back itunes was installed.
doubt it but possibly.
